MENDHAR, Feb 26: The Government employees of tehsil Mendhar held a protest demonstration in support of their demands here today.
The protest demonstration was led by MR Mughal, president LPEF Mendhar. A large number of employees belonging to different departments gathered at Shahidi Yadgar Mendhar and staged protest demonstration. They were shouting slogans in favor of their demands.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Mughal said that GP Fund advance bills are pending for drawal in Treasury Mendhar but the payment is not being made to the employees and pensioners. He demanded early disposal of these bills. He further demanded release of 17% DA due from January and July 2014, enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs. 300 to Rs 1000, regularization of all daily wagers and CP workers, regularization of salaries of regularized teachers working under SSA, release and adjustment of installment of 6th Pay Commission arrears in favor of Masters promoted under SSA, removal of pay anomalies in the grade of Forest employees and clerks, conversion of remaining EVs and SSA contractuals as ReTs, immediate conduct of DPC in all the departments and resolution of the problems of Aganwadi workers.
Later, the demonstration took the shape of rally and entered the Tehsil complex Mendhar amid slogans. They protested for half an hours in the compound of Tehsil Complex Mendhar and dispersed after handing over a memorandum to SDM Mendhar.
