LEH, May 3: Air Vistara, under the Vistara National Relief Programme, facilitated the airlifting of the consignment through the Vistara flight from Delhi to Leh today.
The medical consignment included the computed radiography system, echocardiography machine and high-end monitors and desktops. The airlifting of medical devices was done by Air Vistara on the request of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Leh, Shrikant Suse.
The DC acknowledged Air Vistara for airlifting medical devices that were urgently required at the SNM Hospital in light of the COVID-19 situation but were lying in Delhi due to the closure of the national highways.
He expressed gratitude to Air Vistara for their swift action, especially during the current COVID situation.
