JAMMU, Feb 3: An electrician belonging to Orissa was found hanging today at his rented accommodation in Nanak Nagar area of city outskirts.
“Pramod Jena (37) son of Laxman Jena, resident of Orissa was found hanging this morning with the iron stairs of his rented accommodation,” a police official said, adding the deceased had returned from his home state only this morning.
The official said after postmortem, the body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while Gandhi Nagar police had initiated inquest proceedings in this connection, as no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
