Electrical employees to continue struggle against privatization move

JAMMU, Oct 21: J&K Non Gazetted Electrical Employees Association held a meeting under the chairmanship of its Provincial President Gurmeet Singh.
The participants pledged to carry forward the struggle against the privatization and unbundling move of the Government unitedly under the banner of J&K Electrical Employees and Engineer Coordination Committee.
While speaking, Gurmeet Singh appealed to all the social, political and trade organizations to come forward and support the ongoing struggle of electricity employees and engineers against unbundling move, which is anti people and anti employees.
He urged the employees to stand united throughout the State to continue the struggle and force the Government to keep the power sector under Government control.
The participants also appealed to immediate conduct of DPC of all the cadre and regularization of the daily wagers.
Others who addressed the meeting were Surinder Sharma, Attinderpal Singh, Bal Krishan, Ajay Sharma, Rajesh Jamwal and Varinder Gupta.
