UDHAMPUR, Oct 24: An elderly woman was knocked to death by a speeding van while in a separate road accident, two persons were injured in collision of Tata Mobile vehicle and a Truck, here today.
According to the police reports, one Marwo Devi (70) wife of Kutti Ram of Bryalta in Majlta, was hit by a Maruti van, which was without registration number plate, near Bryalta. Some passersby shifted the injured to Primary Health Center Majalta where doctors declared her as brought dead.
In another road accident, a Tata Mobile, bearing registration number JK14C – 5345, collided with a Truck PB02CC-5301 near Manwal. In the accident, two persons were injured and locals shifted them to PHC Majalta. The injured were identified as Ajay Kumar son of Ashok Kumar of Sambal Udhampur and Mohd Sharif son of Fateh Mohd of Therd in Udhampur.
