SRINAGAR, Apr 19: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) today expressed concern over the order recently issued by the Finance Department regarding implementation of JKPaySys in all the treasuries of J&K.
President of EJAC, Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam said that it was impossible to implement this order productively as J&K is still reeling under 2G internet speed and to upload the documents of employees in this situation will take ages.
“Moreover, due to ongoing pandemic, there is a shortage of employees in the department which will further interrupt the successful implementation of this order”, he said.
He urged the Govt to defer this order for now so that the employees wouldn’t face any problem in this regard. He also appealed the authority to release the pending wages of all the workers who are risking their lives in these critical times.
He further urged the Govt to restore high speed internet for smooth functioning as well as to rescue the stranded Kashmiri and bring them back home.
