JAMMU, July 1: A faction of Employees Joint Action Committee has decided to support four day strike call given by group led by Khursheed Alam and Abdul Qayoom.
In a meeting of various trade union leaders held here under the leadership of senior trade unionist Gafoor Dar, the participants in a resolution adopted, resolved to endorse four day Tala Band Hartal from July 9 to 12 as the Government has failed to honour its agreement made with the JCC leadership. They appealed the State employees to participate in the strike programme and make it successful.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included Ganesh Khajuria, Amrik Singh, Kulwant Singh and Joginder Pal.
