JAMMU, Aug 13: In the wake of curfew restrictions and prevailing situation aftermath Kishtwar violence, all the Educational Institutions across Jammu province shall continue to remain closed on August 14.
A formal notification in this regard was issued today by the Divisional administration.
Meanwhile, the Jammu University has announced postponement of all examinations, including practical tests, which were scheduled to be held on August 14. Fresh dates for holding the postponed exams shall be notified later on, said a communiqué issued by the JU according to which the class work will also remain suspended on August 14.
SKUAST-Jammu has also announced that the class work will remain suspended on Wednesday while the last date of admission to various PG Programmes for the candidates selected through 2nd round of counseling is extended upto August 20.
