JAMMU, Dec 21: Various educational institutions celebrated Christmas with zeal and fervour.
Jammu Sanskriti School celebrated Christmas with great fun and frolic. On the spot Inter School Colouring Competition for Pre-Primary was organsied in which students from Kids Campus Play Schools showcased their creativity. Carol singing competition mesmerized the audience in the special assembly.
Atharav, Rasik and Japroz Singh won first, second and third prizes respectively in the age group 3-4 years whereas, Sunidhi, Aayushi and Ismeet secured first, second and third positions respectively in the age group of 4-5 years.
Guest of honour Principal of Kids Campus Neeru Pandoh distributed prize amongst the winners. A special visit to the Garrison Church Gandhi Nagar was also organised for the students. Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima highlighted the importance of the day.
Christmas was celebrated by SP Senior Secondary School, Bari Brahmana with enthusiasm and fervour. Prabha Gupta, Principal of the school was the guest of honour, whereas CEO of the institute Satya Gupta presided over the function. A cultural bonanza highlighting the importance of Christmas festival was presented by the students.
