JAMMU, Feb 6: Jammu Private Schools and ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) has sought intervention of Education Minister Tara Chand to streamline the functioning of Directorate of School Education.
The appeal was made during a meeting of the Association, held today under the chairmanship of its president Deep Singh.
The meet expressed its dis-satisfaction over some decisions of the Directorate of School Education such as timing of winter holidays, notification of SIE in non-transparent manner, depriving private schools from participation in science exhibition etc.
The meeting was attended by K K Rao, Dr Ghanshyam Singh Charak, Pankaj Sagral and Saraf.
