JAMMU, Apr 2: Dalhousie Hilltop School organized an education awareness seminar at Katra.
President, Poonam Dhawan welcomed all the guests and shared her experience of last 30 years in the field of I.T in US and the challenges which today the students are facing across the global.
She also talked about the globalization of the schools and stressed on the fact that the level of education should be such that enable each student to stand confidently and successful in any global environment.
She said her that the role of school and colleges should be appreciated as they are the gardens where society is produced which is progressive thinking individual who will contribute to the intellectual development of the global community by initiating positive changes in the social fabric in the technology and administration of our life and business and in the approaches employed to realize individual and collective aspirations
To provide quality education that evolves in each step with the changes that take places globally in the field of science commerce and arts should be the aim of all educationists. It could be achieved by providing an environment conducive to the development of each child.
Students should be assisted in acquiring skills, learning and working method, personal organized, paced management of task and priorities and making good use of the surrounding resources
At last, Dhawan said they focus on the holistic development of the child, construct positive attitude based on respect for other and fundamental values, self confidence, positive attitude, self determination and teach them to appreciates hard work suitable to the human and natural environment in which they co- exist.
She thanked all the guests and hoped that they will contribute to the society they live in.
