Edu-cum-Motivational tour flagged in

JAMMU, Oct 30: An Educational–cum Motivational tour comprising 23 students and two teachers hailing from remote areas of Akhnoor district to Delhi, Agra and Indore (Mhow), was flagged in by the Commander, Bawan Brigade in an impressive ceremony held at Pallanwala, today.
The aim of the tour was to give an exposure to young children about developments taking place in rest of the country and to introduce them to the diverse culture, people and landscapes of our nation.
During the tour, the students got an opportunity to visit various places of historical, cultural and motivational interests, like India Gate, Metro Rail, Malls in Delhi and Gurgaon, Taj Mahal, Jahangir Mahal, Agra Fort, Chisti’s Daulah’s Tomb, Dayal Bagh University and Sikandra in Agra. In Indore, they visited Mahindra Two Wheelers Factory, Infantry School Mhow, Army War College, Devi Ahila Bai University, Rajwada (Old Palace), Kanch Mandir, Chhatri Bagh, Bada Ganapati and Omkareshwar Mandir.
