JAMMU, Oct 14: Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB), Branch Tali Morh, today took over possession of the immovable mortgaged property taken as security against the loan advanced to M/S Ganesh Rice Mills, Dablehar in RS Pura area of city outskirts.
The proprietor of the property identified as Ganesh Dass is a defaulter owing an amount of Rs 1.35 crores to the Bank.
The possession of the property comprising of four kanals of land and the rice mill constructed over it has been taken over in terms of Attachment orders dated September 30, 2015 issued by the District and Sessions Judge (Bank cases).
The execution of Attachment order was carried over in the presence of a police party led by SHO police station RS Pura and the concerned revenue officials of Suchetgarh Niabat besides Bank officials.
The property was sealed and the possession notice displayed on the factory premises and main gate of the mill.
