UDHAMPUR, May 6: Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB), Branch Rathian, conducted a Financial Literacy Camp at village Band, here today. The objective of the camp was to synchronise it with providing financial access and thus linking the financially excluded section with the banking system.
During the camp, stress was laid on financial awareness and educating common people on management of money, importance of savings, advantages of savings with the Bank and other facilities provided by the Bank.
Besides, Bank officials and villagers, the camp was also attended by DDM, NABARD, Udhampur, who provided valuable inputs.
Well formulated Financial Literary material in pictorial as well as in text mode for creating financial awareness was displayed at the camp.
