Eda Kanya Ved Vidyalaya inaugurated at Garhi

UDHAMPUR, May 5: The long-awaited inauguration of the Eda Arya Kanya Ved Vidyalaya at Garhi marked a significant milestone in the pursuit of Vedic education and empowerment of young girls.
Acharya Ashish (Sanchalak, Gurukul Aatamonnti Jind Haryana) along with Acharya Nandita Arya (Pracharya, Panani Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Varanasi), graced the occasion, symbolizing the collaboration and support from Kanya Gurukul.
With the admission of 26 girls, the Kanya Ved Vidyalaya vows to instill Vedic values and nurture its students to become exemplary members of society. The event witnessed overwhelming participation from Arya Samajs across Jammu and Kashmir, underscoring the collective commitment to the advancement of education and cultural heritage.
Distinguished guests, Anita Sharma (IAS) and Retired High Court Justice Sudesh Kumar Gupta, graced the occasion as chief guest and guest of honour respectively, highlighting the importance of education in shaping a progressive society.
The daily operations of the Ashram are entrusted to Retired Assistant Prof Dr Pratibha Purandhi as Pracharya of Eda Kanya Ved Vidyalaya and Sanchalika Sukriti Chowdhary, ensuring diligent management and guidance.
The relentless support of Eda Kanya Vidyalaya Sangraksh Bharat Bhushan Gupta and V K Bhagotra has been instrumental in the establishment and sustenance of the Vidyalaya. Their unwavering dedication reflects the spirit of community and collaboration.
Arun Chowdhary, the main trustee, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, urging continued support and enrollment of more girls in the Kanya Ved Vidyalaya. As the journey begins, the Vidyalaya stands poised to empower young minds, shaping a brighter future rooted in tradition and knowledge.
