JAMMU, Aug 26: The bi-annual review meeting of Residential Higher Secondary School (RHSS) Tharuk-Tangtse was held today under the chairmanship of Executive Councillor (EC) for Education Konchok Stazin at Council Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by Counicllor Tangtse, Tashi Namgyal, Joint Director, Education, Ladakh, Tashi Dolma, ACD Leh Tsering Paldan, CEO Leh, XEn R&B Leh, XEn PHE, Leh, AD Planning Education, AD Planning RDD Leh, Chairman BEC Durbuk and teachers, Warden, Headmaster of Middle School Tharuk headed by Principal RHSS Tangtse.
Addressing the meeting, EC Education Konchok Stazin tabled the agendas of HSS Tangtse, hostel and Middle School Tharuk for discussion and directed all the concerned executing agencies for timely implementation of all the decision taken in today’s meeting.
Appreciating the excellent annual board exam results of RHSS Tangtse since two years, EC Konchok and Counicllor Tangtse Tashi Namgyal stressed on giving top priority to the academic structure and performance of the school so that upward result of the school could be maintained. They also directed JD Education to fill up the vacant post of Chemistry, History and Education Lecturers at the earliest.
Number of decision were taken in the meeting regarding additional infrastructure facilities, repair and renovation of the school and hostel buildings, drinking water facilities, restoration of school canal and plantation and internet facilities in school. EC Konchok assigned specific works to the concerned agencies and fixed deadline for completion of different works.
