JAMMU, Jan 8: The Government today ordered attachment of Dr Reyaz Ahmad, Deputy Medical Superintendent of Super Specialty Hospital Jammu for alleged dereliction of duty.
Order in this regard was issued by the Minister for Medical Education Taj Mohi-ud-Din, who took a serious note of delay in restoration of power supply in the SSH where no operations were being conducted for the last few days owing to short circuit.
There were also some complaints of Heads of the Departments against Dr Reyaz, Taj Mohi-ud-Din told the Excelsior and added that Dr Rattanpal, Medical Superintendent of Government Medical College Jammu has been given the additional charge of SSH on temporary basis.
We are going to advertise the post of Medical Superintendent, Super Specialty Hospital Jammu, very soon for filling up the vacancy on regular basis, the Minister informed.
