JAMMU, Jan 9: Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today met the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at Chandigarh. State BJP Vice-President Mamta Singh was also present on the occasion.
Dr Singh discussed various developmental issues with Haryana Chief Minister especially the power and housing related issues.
Dr Singh told the Haryana Chief Minister that Jammu and Kashmir has already initiated several reformative measures in the power sector so that the electricity related issues are resolved and the consumers get round the clock supply. He also asked for providing the related inputs regarding the power sector in the state.
The Deputy Chief Minister discussed various housing and urban developmental issues maintaining that the state of Haryana has done some wonderful job in the urban development and is coming up as one of the most favored destinations for the young and upcoming.
He also asked for passing on requisite expertise to the consultants from J&K so that they can also take a cue from the developments in housing sector in Haryana.
