DyCM cautions people against anti nationals, highlights role of ABVP

JAMMU, May 28: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh highlighted the role of ABVP in infusing instinct of knowledge, character and unity while creating the national leadership.
Addressing a function in honour of reception of ABVP national leaders participating in three days National Executive meeting which will start from tomorrow, Dr Singh said he is proud of the fact he happens to be the ABVP worker during his student life in college and university and exhorted the youth to play their indispensable role in nation building through able leadership. Dr. Singh further signaled about the looming danger to the national integrity by the antinational forces and impressed upon the youth and ABVP workers to play a proactive role in infusing the nationalist instinct in the society to foil the dubious designs of such forces posing danger to the nation integrity.
The programme started with chanting of the national song.  Prof. Naresh Padha, general secretary of the programme expressed his gratitude towards ABVP for organizing such a unique programme at Jammu and welcomed the delegates.
Ishwar Sharad, while speaking advocated the activities and milestones achieved by the ABVP in Jammu and Kashmir in establishing a nationalist atmosphere not only in the college or university campuses but in the society as a whole.
While speaking Nagesh Thakur,  National President ABVP advocated milestones achieved by  ABVP and its  journey from genesis to present era. Thakur further exhorted the youth in general  and workers of  ABVP  in particular to counter the antinational forces in our society and create an ambiance of nationalist thinking which is the precursor of national building.
While speaking on the occasion Dr. Sanjeev Jain stressed upon the importance and role of youth in national building.
Vinay Bidre, National general secretary, ABVP stated that ABVP is working for reconstructing and transforming India since seven decades.
The formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof Naresh Padha.
A cultural programme was also organized for to showcase the cultural heritage and diversity of Jammu region among the delegates who have come from across the country.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Versha Gupta, State Secretary, ABVP.
