DyCM to attend oath ceremony of Gujarat, HP CMs

JAMMU, Dec 24: Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, who also happens to be the BJP Legislature Party leader in Jammu and Kashmir, has been invited by the BJP high command, New Delhi as well as party’s State units of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh to attend oath taking ceremony of new Chief Ministers on December 26 and 27.
Accordingly, Dr Nirmal Singh will fly to Ahmedabad in Gujarat tomorrow to attend oath taking ceremony of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Council of Ministers on December 26, where he will also meet the BJP leaders from New Delhi and Gujarat State unit.
On December 27, he will attend oath ceremony of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur in Shimla.
It may be mentioned here that Dr Nirmal Singh had extensively campaigned for the BJP in Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections.
The BJP has won comfortable majority in the recently held Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections.
