JAMMU, Dec 3: Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma here today inaugurated renovation works at Billu Mandir, Panjtirthi in Ward No. 1.
Ashok Khajuria, Ex-MLC, Naresh Abrol, Arun Gupta, Executive Engineer (C), officials of JMC, locals including Kuldeep Mehta, Gopal, Sunita Wazir, Shubh Lata Sharma, Anuradha Sharma, Vijay Sharma and others were also present on the occasion
The renovation works will include face lifting of Saraswati Drama Club, extension of the shed and the construction of pacca roof in place of concrete shed for the welfare of the general public etc.
A handout of the JMC stated that Saraswati Drama Club stage will also be renovated and the total cost of renovation work will be around Rs. 16 lakh and this amount will be provided from the cooperative funds.
Deputy Mayor also inspected the ongoing developmental work of front beautification and construction of the community hall at Billu Mandir and directed the officials to get all the pending developmental work done in time.
