JAMMU, Mar 3: Deputy Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Purnima Sharma here today inspected ongoing NBCC work in Ward number 1.
During inspection, the Deputy Mayor noted that lanes in the area were in worst condition while the tile patches and manholes were also not in symmetry and the work has been completed.
She also saw bags full of construction wastes along sides of lanes since months while at the site of ongoing NBCC works the construction material was dumped everywhere.
The lanes were not properly repaired and were further being damaged due to which the locals were facing problems in moving through these lanes.
Reacting to all this Purnima Sharma directed the concerned NBCC contractor to get all the rubble removed within two days and also to get the pending work complete within specific time. She warned action if anymore inconvenience is caused to the locals.
Rashid, Madan, Raman, Gopal Magotra, Gopal Sadotra and others also accompanied the Deputy Mayor.
