JAMMU, JANUARY 20: Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh inaugurated the Fortis Consultnext Centre here today.
Consultnext is highly secure, flexible and private tele-health platform designed for hospitals. It allows hospitals to expand their area of influence significantly by seamlessly integrating tele-medicine into their OPD, IPD and patient care initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singh congratulated Emedify Solutions for their innovative contribution in upgrading medical facilities in Jammu.
Dr Singh said the government is keen to provide adequate medical facilities to the people at their doorstep. He said Fortis Consultnext Super Specialty Medicare Facilities will be moved to villages mainly with functional centres to cater to the rural population.
He said such facilities would go a long way in improving the availability of quality healthcare facilities in the State.
Highlighting the importance of quality health services, Dr Singh said this will benefit the people of the state who are not able to go to the hospitals located in metros.
Dr Singh was informed that the patients will get live consultation through a highly proficient video consulting solution that allows patients to discuss their problems, cater their second opinion regarding their issues and can upload their investigation reports and other documents.
Dr Singh appreciated the role of Director Cardiology, Fortis Hospital Dr H K Bali for his contribution in the field of medicine.
