Dwivedi reviews medicare facilities for Amarnath Yatris

SRINAGAR, May 7: A high level officers meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of Commissioner Secretary Health, M. K. Dwivedi to review the facilities being extended to devotees during Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
Addressing the meeting, the Commissioner Secretary directed for ensuring smooth conduct of yatra by providing portable oxygen cylinders, ambulances, medicines, first aid and emergency drugs to the needy yatris on various routes leading to holy cave.
He also urged upon officers to work with zeal and dedication to give better facilities to the yatris during the yatra.
On this occasion, Director Health Service Kashmir apprised the meeting about the steps in this regard taken by the department through a power point presentation.
The meeting was attended by Director Health Services, Kashmir, Director Health Services Jammu, officers of BSF, Secretary Red Cross, Kashmir, Chief Medical Officers of Ganderbal, Srinagar and Anantnag, Doctors and other officers.
