JAMMU, Mar 16: The Government of India today ordered empanelment of 54 Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers of 1997 batch as Joint Secretaries or equivalent at the Centre.
They included Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, an IAS officer of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, presently posted as Private Secretary to Union Minister for Micro-Small and Medium Enterprises.
He had held important posts in Jammu and Kashmir including Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Rajouri and Leh, Additional CEO Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (twice), Director Education, Rural Development Department and Employment and SDM Kathua among others.
Prior to his present posting of Private Secretary with the Union Minister, he had held the post of Director in Union ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
