JAMMU, Oct 8: Provincial President of National Conference Women Wing Vijaylaxmi Dutta visited Bajalta in Nagrota Assembly Constituency and distributed relief material among the flood victims.
Interacting with the flood victims, Dutta said the damages caused by the calamity have been enormous, which call for special dispensation to meet the challenge.
She said priority has to be given for reconstruction and renovation of the houses which have fully or partially damaged as the people cannot be left in distress.
Dutta emphasized the need of early rehabilitation of flood sufferers across the State in view of ensuing winter season. She said road connectivity, especially bridges and culverts, have been affected across the State, which needs top priority to reach out all the affected areas for reconstruction and rehabilitation.
