Durga Nagar Welfare Committee holds meet

JAMMU, Oct 1: A meeting of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee was held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Riana its president in which various issues concerning the people of the area were discussed.
The meeting expressed concern that the black topping work , drainage work and tile work for which the Committee got funds sanctioned from the Government has not been started yet while in other areas it has been started since.
The meeting made an appeal to Chief Engineer PWD to start these works at an earliest, as the Winter season will start soon.
The meeting appealed the PDD Chief Engineer and Executive Engineer Division 3rd to provide conductor for six poles which have been installed in the area and also urged them to ensure regular power supply in the area.
The meeting urged the DC Jammu to ensure the settlement of Rikshaw service case. It also demanded that the statistical assistants list for migrants be released soon.
