Durga Nagar Welfare Committee delegation calls on Advisor Khan

JAMMU, Aug 26: A deputation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee headed by its president, Roshan Lal Raina and accompanied by its other members including C L Zutshi, Badri Nath, Nana Ji met Advisor to Governor, Farooq Khan and demanded sanctioning of JDA land for Durga Nagar Higher Secondary School, the file of which is lying in JDA Office for last three years. Raina also informed the Advisor that pending orders of teachers, waiting list teachers and other departmental orders be issued otherwise with the lapse of time youth will become overaged.
The Advisor assured the delegation that the demands put forth by them will be looked into.
The delegation also urged the Executive Engineer, JDA to issue instructions to his field staff to cut the wild grass in Durga Nagar park and install High Mast Lights in the park.
The Committee also expressed satisfaction over starting of the electric bus in the area and appealed people to make it successful.
