JAMMU, Aug 26: ABVP today protested against the act of NSUI activists in Delhi, who threw ink on the statue of Veer Savarkar.
The ABVP activists assembled at Jammu University and raised slogans against the NSUI action. Carrying placards, they were also demanding stern action against the guilty NSUI activists and an apology from the Congress party.
The protest demonstration was led by the ABVP JU president Shubham Amar and secretary Dyutima Kesar, who also addressed the protesters. They highlighted the contribution of Veer Savarkar in the freedom struggle. They also quoted Bhagat Singh, who had disclosed that he drew inspiration for freedom struggle from the book of Veer Savarkar.
