JAMMU, Feb 3: A meeting of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee was held under the chairmanship of its president Roshan Lal Raina in which various issues concerning the people were discussed.
The meeting made a strong appeal to Advisor K K Sharma to release the list of 52 candidates who are in waiting list for the post of teachers in various districts of Valley under PM package. Besides, it demanded release of the waiting list of candidates of Statistical assistants and fourth class employees for which SSB has not conducted the interviews.
In light of statistical assistants the Committee has met earlier to Secretary Relief and Rehabilitation and presented a representation to him for releasing the list and converting the 14 candidates into open category.
The Committee said that candidates are becoming over aged and delay in releasing the list has caused mental agony and frustration to them as enough time has passed since 2017. The meeting also discussed the transport facilities, construction of lanes and drains, tile work of some lanes, construction of tube well for which 10 marlas of land is required on cost payment and turned the attention of the Government towards these demands.
