JAMMU, July 27: Durga Development Committee in its meeting today held at Durga Nagar highlighted various demands.
The meeting demanded that the Government should take immediate steps in development of lanes and drains damaged in floods and rains. The members of the Committee also met the Minister of Forests and Social Welfare Bali Bhagat and highlighted their demands before him. He assured the Committee members that their demands will be settled.
The delegation also met the Municipal Commissioner and highlighted their demands before him. The delegation was led by P L Suresh and its other members were M L Bhatt, Satish Zutshi, Uttam K Sharma, S Khajuria, Kaka Ji, Sunil Koul, Deepak Sharma, Sanjay Bhat, C L Koul, M L Pandita, Dr Bali, Prem Kumar, M KSharma and others.
