Dulhasti Power Station organizes free Eye & ENT Medical Camp

KISHTWAR, Dec 5: Dulhasti Power Station, NHPC Ltd., Kishtwar is organizing a three days Free Eye & ENT Medical Camp for the poor and needy people of District Kishtwar from today to December 7 at Project Hospital.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Sunil Sharma, Minister of State for Transport (Independent charge), Revenue, Public Works (Roads & Buildings), Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Agriculture Production, YSS. The medical camp is being organized under NHPC CSR and Sustainability policy in association with KLSM Rotary EYE & ENT Hospital, Udhampur.
P.K. Langer, General Manager of Dulhasti Power Station has briefed the Minister about three days medical camp and various facilities to be provided  by the  power station to the  patients like free Cataract surgery of Eye, free hearing aid, free medicine and free lodging and boarding etc.. The medical team visited nearby areas of the power station like Padar & Chhatru on Decmber 2 and 3 to identify patients for the camp.
On, first day of camp more than 300 patients for Eye & ENT have registered themselves for treatment and checkup.
On this occasion Gulam Nabi Balwan, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Harish Bulchandani, Chief Engineer (C), Suresh Kumar, Chief Engineer (E) and other seniorofficers along with employees of NHPC were present.
