JAMMU, Oct 23: Duggar Manch Jammu today organized a function at KL Saigal Hall in which three books and a special number of literary magazine were released.
The function was presided over by Prof Champa Sharma, an eminent Dogri poetess and Sahitya Akademi awarded writer.
The books released on the occasion were collection of Dogri short stories ‘Jindagi Kinni Khubsurat’ by Dr Om Goswami, Dogra Lok-Sanskriti Te Anushthan Parampara (Research Work) by Dr Om Goswami and collection of Dogri poetries ‘Aa Geet Parane Gai Laichai’ by Satyapal Gadwaliya.
‘Dogri Anushandhan’, literary magazine’s special number of Dr Om Goswami, which has been edited by Sunita Bhadwal, was also released on the occasion.
Papers on these books were also presented by famous scholars like Dr Gian Singh, Dr Rattan Basotra, Dr Padam Dev Singh “Nadan” and Dr Om Goswami.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Mohan Singh, president of Duggar Manch, said that the Manch is committed for the development of Dogri language and literature.
