It is need of the hour that a Duggar TV channel be set up in Jammu. The channel will help in promoting the cause of Dogri and local tradition and culture. Besides, the artistes will get an opportunity to showcase their talent.
The channel will also generate employment opportunities for the youth of Jammu. The region is witnessing exponential rise in unemployment graph. The voice raised by various cultural groups and politicians of various political parties should be taken into account by the powers that matter.
There should be no further delay-dallying on this project as much time has been already wasted. The earlier it is set up, the better it would be for the people of this region.
