JAMMU, Nov 30: Romesh Khajuria, Chairman, WWEPC, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India said that Dubai is a gateway to Middle East, African and other countries for export of Indian products in Dubai and UAE.
Khajuria was leading a delegation of Indian woollen exporters to participate in International Apparels and Textiles Fair (IATF) in Dubai World Trade Centre, , UAE from 27 to 29 November 2023. IATF renowned for its global influence in the fashion and textile industry, this distinguished event provided an outstanding platform for Indian exporters to exhibit their innovative designs, unmatched creativity, and unwavering commitment to excellence in the apparel and textile sector.
Khajuria, actively engaged with industry experts, fashion enthusiasts, and potential partners, fostering valuable connections and exploring avenues for future collaborations. WWEPC’s participation in IATF represents a significant stride in its mission to promote Indian woollen textiles on a global scale.
In addition to its participation in the IATF, WWEPC also collaborated with AEPC in organizing a road show to promote Bharat Tex 2024, attracting prospective buyers, and establishing partnerships from across the globe.
Earlier Shiekh Butti Saeed Mohammed Al-Ghandi , Chairman, Emirates Investment & Development PSC inaugurated the International Textiles & Apparel Fair more than 130 exporters from India and more than 400 companies from 27 countries participated in the event.
