DSSP to unite all nationalistic forces of region: Lal Singh

KATHUA, Nov 7: Former MP and chairman of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan Party (DSSP) Choudhary Lal Singh today said that his party shall ensure that all the nationalistic, secular and pro Jammu statehood forces are united to defeat the agenda of the divisive politics both within Jammu as well as Kashmir.
Lal Singh was addressing the party workers at Kathua and Marheen blocks of Kathua. He said that his party shall participate in the local polls on the plank of getting statehood for Jammu region.
“All those, over the years played politics on communal lines and exploited the gullible citizens of the erstwhile state, needs to be exposed and it’s the high time that new leadership take reign in their hands and write off the old mindset of politics of  vendetta,” he added.
He further pledged to fight till his last breath for the cause of Jammu and never succumb to any pressure from any corner. He called upon the youth of the Jammu province to join the mission of DSSP for the prosperity, dignity and sustainability of the cultural and social fabric of Jammu province.
The former MP also called upon all the Panchs and Sarpanchs of DSSP to gear up for the election and makes every voter aware about the objectives and issues of DSSP. He further said that DSSP shall fight tooth and nail against all the new laws which deprive the citizens of Jammu province of its perpetual rights inherited by birth including of all its natural resources like rivers, mountains, forests, mines and minerals.
“We will not allow anyone to plunder our resources and shall oppose to the best of our capacities and strength. DSSP has launched the mass awareness campaign to unite the people to fight against all the anti people policies of the Government,” he added.
