DSS may emerge strong political alternative: Lal Singh

KATHUA, Dec 23: Former Member Parliament and president, Dogra Swabhimaan Sangthan (DSS), Ch Lal Singh today said that DSS may emerge as strong alternative force for the people of Jammu region in the coming Assembly elections.
Addressing a series of public meeting at Sanoora, Changi, Mehrajpur, Hiranagar and Ghour area of Kathua today, Ch Lal Singh said that in coming election, DSS may emerge a strong alternative for the Dogras if the people of Jammu desired.
Enthused with the massive participation of the elected Sarpanchs and Panchs in the series of meeting, Ch Lal Singh gave a clarion call to all Dogras to maintain the same spirit and expressed a strong hope that the time is not far when the Dogras will provide a strong political alternative in the State politics and the sufferings which the people faced during successive governments, shall come to an end.
Lal Singh further said that this is the high time when people of Jammu province must stand and seek answer from all politicians and parties about their contribution for the cause of Jammu and also what they did for the youth of Jammu who are on roads despite having higher qualification but suffered due to the biased and appeasement approach of the successive Governments.
While seeking the attention of the Governor towards the representation which DSS has given to him, to take immediate action so that the faith of Dogras shattered during Mehbooba regime, is restored. He asked all elected representatives to fan out in every nook and corner with the vision document so that Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan, which is the only voice of Dogras at present, create a tangible impact in the coming state elections and no party could dare to seek votes without addressing the issues which are there in vision document.
Reacting to the recent remarks of NC president Farooq Abdullah that if NC gets majority, they will provide autonomy to all the three regions, Lal Singh said that people of J&K won’t be befooled anymore by these rhetoric’s of Kashmir based politicians.
Kuljeet Singh, Ravinder Sambyal, Dr Ashok Sharma, Pushpinder Charak, Jakson and Navneet Kaur also spoke on the occasion.
