DSEK acts against 2 more schools for violating FCC orders

Srinagar, June 30: After around 6 private schools operating in Srinagar were asked to adhere to the Government orders with regard to the charging of fees during the lockdown period, the DSEK today took a strong note of violation from 2 more schools.
Excelsior learnt that a few more complaints were received by the DESK from the parents wherein it was alleged that two more schools, JK Public School, Humhama Budgam and Presentation Convent Hr. Secondary School Raj Bagh were indulging in violation of the orders issued by the Fee Fixation Committee (FCC)
Following that, in continuation to the previous order issued in this regard, the DSEK has asked the JKBOSE not to accept any claim from these schools till the issuance of NOC in favour of these schools.
“In continuation to this office Order No: OSEK/GS/54-Misc/273-18 dated.. 26-06-2021 (copy enclosed) on the subject cited above, it is requested not to entertain any claim/application of the following schools till NOC is issued by this Directorate with regard to implementation of orders for collection of the tuition fee during lockdown period of COVID-19 pandemic. 1: JK Public School, Humhama, Budgam, 2: Presentation Convent Hr. Secondary School Raj Bagh,” reads a letter sent by the DSEK to JKBOSE.
