Dry spell ends with season’s first snowfall at Patnitop

JAMMU:
The dry spell of ongoing cold wave ended with showers in low lying areas and also by season’s first snowfall at famous tourist destination Patnitop of Ramban district of Jammu region.
Jammuites today heaved a sigh of relief from ongoing cold weather conditions after rains lashed the winter capital and snowfall at the tourist spot of Patnitop-situated along Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district which witnessed few inches of season’s first snowfall.
The tourists, Vaishno Devi pilgrims and locals have started rushing to the tourist destination Patnitop to witness the snowfall.
Weatherman meanwhile had predicted rains and snowfall across the region in the next 24 hours. (AGENCIES)
