Drug peddlers arrested

JAMMU, June 13: Kanachack police under Operation Sanjeevani arrested three persons along with cannabis.
As per police spokesman, on reliable information, a team from Kanachack police station laid a naka and intercepted a Maruti 800 car at Mishriwala.
During checking, police recovered 270 grams cannabis from the possession of three persons traveling in the car and arrested them on the spot.
The arrested persons have been identified as Ashraf Khan and Zakir Ali, both residents of Kangar Bhalwal and Neeraj Gandhi, a resident of Kot Bhalwal.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at police station Kanachack and further investigation of the case is going to ascertain the source and destination of the drug.
Police team led by SHO Kanachack Inspector Naresh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Varinder Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
