Drug peddler nabbed with ganja

JAMMU, Sept 29: Bahu Fort Police nabbed a drug peddler and recovered 6 kilograms of ganja from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Sayed Abbas Jafari laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was coming from Railway Station to JDA Park Rail Head Complex Jammu.
During search, police team recovered 6 kilograms of ganja from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Manmohan Chandra, son of Naryaan Parshad Chandra of Singra Chattisgarh, at present Bishnah District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 251/2022 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
