RAJOURI, Aug 10: The police has arrested a person in Kandi area and recovered 30 rolls of Charas from his possession today.
Police said that a team headed by Station House Officer Kandi (Kotranka) Insp Mustaj Ahmed during naka at Morha in Kandi, found one person moving in suspicious conditions who was also carrying a bag.
The said man started to behave quite suspiciously after seeing police naka after which alert cops apprehended him, police said.
“During frisking, 30 rolls of Charas were recovered from the possession of drug-peddler who has been identified as Zaheem Shah, son of Mohd Azam, resident of Draj Budhal.
Police said that a case under relevant sections of law have been registered in Kandi police station and further investigation is going on into the matter.
