JAMMU, Sept 25: Domana Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 500 grams cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Domana laid a naka and intercepted an Alto car bearing Registration Number JK14B-7106.
During checking, police team recovered 500 grams cannabis wrapped in 32 maize leaves and arrested the driver, who was identified as Rishu Davgotra, son of Amarjeet Davgotra of Sangrampur, Tehsil Marh, district Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 334/2022 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
Police team led by SI Tarseem Raj made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Tilak Raj Sharma, SDPO Domana Sunil Singh and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
