JAMMU, Nov 1: Digiana police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered 86 intoxicant capsules from his possession.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Digiana Police Post laid a naka at Digiana pulli and intercepted one pedestrian Vinod Kumar, son of Shiv Ram of Preet Nagar, Digiana.
During search, police recovered 86 intoxicant capsules and arrested the drug peddler.
A case under FIR number 265/13 and under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started to ascertain the source.
