SAMBA, May 23: A drug peddler was arrested with 5.26 grams of heroin-like-substance in Ramgarh area here today.
Acting on specific information, a party of police station Ramgarh intercepted a motorcycle (JK20A-6394) for checking at Kajyal Chowk.
During search of the bike rider later identified as Kaka Hussain of Bidha, tehsil and district Reasi, the contraband-like-substance was recovered, he said.
Accordingly, he said, the accused was arrested and booked in case FIR number 35/2025 under sections 8/21/22/25 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Ramgarh and further investigation started.
