JAMMU, Nov 20: A drug peddler was arrested with 39 grams of heroin from Bagh-e-Bahu area here today.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu led by SDPO East Parupkar Singh, assisted by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu, Inspector Arti Thakru and PSI Wasim Bhatti while on naka duty at Kalika Colony rounded up a suspected woman.
On search of the woman, identified as Manisha of Chandigarh, he said, 39 grams of heroin was recovered.
Accordingly, the accused woman has been arrested booked in case FIR number 99/2023 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and further investigation started.
