JAMMU, Oct 29: A drug peddler was arrested with 21 grams of heroin from Narwal area here today.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Police Post Narwal led by SDPO East Parupkar Singh assisted by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Shiv Dev Singh and incharge Police Post Narwal SI Lalit Sharma while on naka duty near Railway Pulli Narwal rounded up a suspect.
“On search of his belongings, 21 grams of heroin was recovered,” he said.
The accused, identified as Sunil Kumar of Rajiv Nagar, Jammu, has been accordingly arrested and booked in case FIR number 311/2023 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation taken up.
