KATHUA, Dec, 10:-Continuing its drive against drug menace a team of Police Station, Kathua under the close supervision of Sanjeev Chib, SHO Kathua, seized 6.5 grams of heroin and arrested one notorious drug peddler wanted for spread of drug menace in the area.
As per reports at 1200hrs today a police party of Police Station, Kathua during patrolling and checking duty at Kalibari area noticed that one suspect person. During his search 6.5 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. He was identified as Wasim Khan @ Rahul, S/o Ali Hussain, R/o Sunjwan, Jammu A/P Board Lane Shiva Nagar, Kathua.
Police Station Kathua registered a case FIR No. 374/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act and has set investigation into motion into the case.
