UDHAMPUR, Dec 7: The police apprehended a drug- peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Udhampur and recovered 1520 Pregabalin capsules from his possession here today.
Official sources said that a police party from Police Party from Battal Ballian, while on patrolling duty at Sailan Talab, intercepted a person on suspicious grounds.
During the frisking of the said person, 1520 Pregabalin capsules were recovered from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Manoj Gupta, son of Bishan Dass, resident of Ghordi, Ramnagar, at present Sailan Talab, Udhampur. He was arrested on the spot and the capsules were seized. The matter has been reported to the Drug Inspector, Udhampur for further necessary action.
