JAMMU, Nov 26: A drug peddler has been arrested with 12 grams of heroin from Narwal area today, officials said.
Sanju Kumar of Rajeev Nagar Jammu was arrested by a team of Police Post Narwal headed by incharge Police Post concerned under the guidance of SHO Trikuta Nagar and supervision of SDPO City East and SP South Ajay Sharma with the consignment from Narwal area during routine patrolling duty, they said.
The accused has been accordingly booked in case FIR number 315/2024 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Trikuta Nagar and further investigation taken up to unearth the forward and backward linkages of the arrested individuals.
